The Open Systems Support Center is a student-led initiative tasked with spreading information regarding Open Source solutions to computing. This mission includes helping students and faculty install and use Linux on their own machines as well as providing help locating and using Open Source software like Open Office (a free competitor to Microsoft Office).

Also housed in the same office is the Kiwi Project headquarters. The Kiwi Project is another student-led initiative which provides free computers to places and organizations that need them.
