Aviation Family Weekend
UND is continuing to monitor the current impact of COVID-19, and is working to develop contingency plans for all students, faculty, and staff. This includes all events and gatherings. As of Thursday, March 12, the Aviation Department is currently working with student group leaders to develop potential contingency plans to include virtual participation or delivery options, rescheduling of some events, and potentially cancelling others. We anticipate being able to offer further information soon, and will update through our normal modes of communication including social media. Thank you for your support of our students, faculty, and staff.
On behalf of the University of North Dakota Alpha Eta Rho, Delta Chapter, Professional Aviation Fraternity, we would like to welcome family, friends, and loved ones to our annual UND Aerospace Aviation Family Weekend. This event brings family and friends from all over the world to celebrate the achievements of our aviation students.
During this weekend, visitors can attend the many static displays at the airport, tour our great facilities, and, for the immediate family of a student enrolled in a flight course, go flying! Our local chapter of Women in Aviation will offer a delicious pancake breakfast followed by the Alpha Eta Rho BBQ lunch. Families are welcome to attend the Aviation Family Weekend Banquet.
Please join us Saturday evening, where families are welcome to attend the Aviation Family Weekend Banquet at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center, and enjoy complimentary guided tours of the Ralph Engelstad Arena (must pre-register for the tours).
All attendees must register online. No payments will be accepted at the door.
