Aerobatic Team

The Aerobatic Team competes at the collegiate level in aerobatic competitions around the United States at International Aerobatic Club sanctioned events. The events consist of accuracy and speed in flying a prescribed and convoluted three-dimensional course.

UND operates two American Champion Aircraft Super Decathlons for its aerobatic team, aerobatic courses, tail wheel training, and spin training.

To join the UND Aerobatics Team please fill out the membership application (link coming soon!). We welcome all students with a private pilots license and enthusiasm to check out what aerobatic flight is all about.

Benefits:

• Members who qualify for aerobatics will get hands-on training in non-standard maneuvers and increased skill in handling airframes in unusual situations
• Some of us go to the annual National Aerobatic Contest
• All of us learn and have fun

Note: Meetings are occasionally canceled in advance due to extenuating circumstances. Be sure to confirm meeting times with a UND Aerobatics Team Officer.
